My name is Amanda and I am a personal trainer at World Class Iceland and a triathlete. I competed in my first triathlon in June 2014- when my second born was 10 months old. I now train with a club called Ægir3 and I compete both domestically and Internationally. I first got into triathlon because it sounded like a fun challenge and really just wanted to see what is was all about. After competing in my first triathlon in the summer of 2014 there was no turning back. Now I have adapted a more competitive attitude- but not for the sake of being the best, rather to see how far I can push or challenge myself. I am always setting and striving to reach new goals.

My main goals for the summer are as follows:

Compete in the Hamburg world triathlon  in the Olympic distance and come in top three over all and win my age group

Qualify for the world championships located in Rotterdam in September
